|About this websiteHistory & Development|
The company has developed this series of online performance tools for mentors, coaches, trainers and individuals. There are tools for the workplace, for students and families, sports performers and business leaders.
Douglas B. Cowie (BA Dip ED. Dip Tchg.)
Through Frontline Solutions Ltd., Doug Cowie has acquired the research-based developments in mentoring and coaching resources begun by Louis J. Thompson at NZCNA. Following further testing at UNITEC in Auckland, and with the advent of online technologies, the mentoring / coaching profilers have come alive. And they continue to evolve as contributors and associates provide feedback of further effective strategies from the field.
Doug's management career includes international high performance management systems (International Cricket Council); research and performance development (NZCNA, Frontline Solutions); SME business and financial management (Apple Computer's NZ distributor CED; Sealcorp; PSC; & Logical Systems).
Doug is a former international cricket umpire and former manager of umpiring for the International Cricket Council (ICC) where he applied his skills and tools to establish global support systems for elite officials. After four years in international high performance sports management with the ICC based in Dubai he is now back managing Frontline Solutions Ltd. Doug understands personal performance and the factors that impact on people's development at all levels.
With a training background in teaching, coupled with a career in business management and recently in performance management, Doug recognises the importance of structured development for personal improvement.
Louis J. Thompson (MA Hons; Dip Ed; Dip Tchg)
The cornerstone of these easy-to-use tools is many years of practical, international research conducted by Louis J Thompson.
The tools reflect Thompson's personal development model based on his research into self-esteem, resilience and self-belief, and their impact on personal development. Lou Thompson is often regarded as the founder of youth mentoring in New Zealand.
Gillian L. Cowie (LTCL Music Teaching)
Gillian is a trained music teacher with twenty years experience. She is also qualified in Health and Natural Rebalance Therapies.
Gillian has recently completed studies in life coaching and personal development. Her role involves testing the content of each of the Frontline Solution tools through practical experiences in supporting others.

He has assisted individuals and groups in a range of business and non-sport fields to apply the mental skills of world champion athletes to their role in business.
